I have a thing for old suitcases. Ever since I discovered such a thing existed I’ve been buying and selling any cool looking ones that I might happen to come across. If I could, I would keep them all except I have no room. I’ve cut my collection down to the lovely 3 shapes that you see here: round, square and rectangular.
They just don’t make suitcases like this anymore. The detailing and the intricate stitching are amazing – it makes me want to hop on the next departing cruise ship and sail away.
I have actually used all of these before in travel – not very practical as they are fairly heavy and difficult to carry (whoever invented rollers on suitcases was a genius).

Glad you like the photos! Naomi and I use two cameras on occasion, a Canon 5D (which takes the majority of the photos) or a Nikon D200. We get the retro look through color toning in Adobe Lightroom
