Vintage Kenneth Jay Lane koi fish bracelet

Posted by: naomi @ 7:07 pm in clothing & accessories, vintage finds

I was going through my jewelry box the other day and came across this gorgeous doubled headed koi fish bracelets by Kenneth Jay Lane. It was one of the first things I bought on eBay way back when and to date it’s still one of my favorite pieces

Kenneth Jay Lane (KJL) is one of my favorite costume jewelry designers and I love love love (did I say love?) the majority of his pieces. He’s most famous for the strawberry pendant necklace with Swarovski crystals on it.

KJL makes a ton of different bracelets with different animal heads on them. I’ve been eyeballing a light blue enamel giraffe one and a fierce looking tiger one on eBay – the best place to get them.

Good Day Naomi,

This is truly a lovely piece of jewelry! You made a good investment for your first eBay purchase! I think mine was a pair of plastic lime green shoe that are no longer part of my wardrobe!

Regards from one of your new Vancouver readers!

Hi coco :) Thanks for the lovely comment. A plastic lime green shoe? Is that one of those crocs type of rubber shoe with the holes in the foot? haha.

Welcome and I love your blog btw! Love the bonsai flowers :)

Re Hello Naomi,

Oufff!! oh no, it wasn’t the crop style shoe! It was a imitation of those very lovely embellish Indian flat that were so in vogue in Vancouver about 4 years ago!

I think Crop would have been really funny thought ;)

Thank you for taking a look at my blog! ;) I also love your blog!
