Palmer & Sons Gladstone leather bagPosted by: ryan @ 10:45 pm in clothing & accessories, featured shops |
Nik Palmer of Palmer And Sons has designed a set of very cool leather bags that have a rough vintage style, making them very unique. His latest bag – one of my favorites, is the Gladstone No 10 L . With its massive chrome clasps and brass rivets, it reminds me of a large doctor’s bag. I want one but I need to figure out where I’ll be traveling with it!

A woman, a cat and her jewelry (vintage of course)Posted by: naomi @ 10:43 pm in clothing & accessories, people |
This past weekend, Ryan and I hung out with my friend Sally at her apartment in Gastown. She’s one of the most unique women I’ve ever met and loves all things sparkly, shiny and vintage. Taking photos of her (+ her cat Loki) and some of her stuff just seemed natural for this blog. An avid collector of fun party dresses, you’ll often see Sally walking down the street with one of her many parasols, elbow length gloves and sky high heels.

Leather handbags made from vintage materialsPosted by: naomi @ 10:59 pm in clothing & accessories, featured shops |
I have a weakness for handbags, so when the lovely Miss Beth alerted me to Ora Handbags, I was immediately smitten. These bags are designed by the very talented Randi in my hometown of Vancouver, BC.
Ora Handbags are made from vintage garments and local upholstery scraps that would otherwise crowd the landfills. All Ora handbags are fully lined with internal pockets. All straps are adjustable and each bag is made one by one by designer Randi in Vancouver BC.

Vintage inspired dressesPosted by: naomi @ 11:03 am in clothing & accessories |
Anthropologie has a great selection of vintage inspired dresses at the moment. They evoke dreamy, wistful emotions and are the perfect outfit for a night out or a weekend in the city. I’m not sure what I like better – the dresses or the location where the models are being shot. Look at the detailing on the window in the middle photo. I want!
Check out more of Anthropologie’s dreses here. I have my eye on the mustard yellow Inky Quills Dress. Unfortunatley we don’t have a store in Vancouver so it’s either online or crossing the border to Seattle if I want to get my hands on one.

Fabulous Finds: Vintage headbands by LIASONPosted by: naomi @ 7:39 pm in clothing & accessories, featured shops |
I love browsing the shops on Etsy not only for unique prints and knick knacks for my house, but for the amazing designers who put out great one-of-a-kind jewelry and accessories. LIASON is no exception. I first came across this store, run by a talented designer named Katherine, during my hunt for a feathered headband to accessorize my outfit for an upcoming 1920’s flapper party.
