Last weekend we took a ferry over to see Peter Haase and Mona Fertig of Mother Tongue Publishing. Peter was taught letterpress printing by Jim Rimmer and I wanted to film some of his shared stories on camera.

Letterpress wine labels by Hatch Show PrintPosted by: ryan @ 10:54 pm in letterpress, packaging |
A few weeks ago, I stopped by a liquor store to pick up some booze and stumbled across some 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Hatch Show Print Wine! I’ve always wanted to visit the legendary print shop in Nashville Tennessee and so I had to pick up a bottle.

Letterpress with a touch of love: Prints by HijirikPosted by: naomi @ 11:12 am in featured shops, letterpress |
I love the look of letterpress.
There’s something about the smell of inks and the way the paper feels as you run your fingers over the slightly indented text that makes me sad to think it’s a dying art form that may one day disappear. While browsing Etsy the other day, I came across a lovely letterpress shop run by the sweetest girl, Hijirik, who also owns Hijirik Design Studio.
